Cheer/Tumble

This class is created for all skill levels of tumbling and cheerleading. During class each student has the opportunity to work on individual tumbling with their teacher while others work on rotating through fun activities that gives them strength for more advanced tumbling skills. We work on perfecting basic cheerleading moves and practice movements to help them in cheerleading or just knowing their body language.

 

Kids Yoga

Kids yoga creates a powerful movement for all of our students. The atmosphere of our kids yoga class is the same as you would get at an adult class, creating their minds to focus and listen to their teacher and their bodies. We will also take some time in class to learn some yoga tricks, fun history about yoga, and sometimes learning how to tell a story through yoga. This class is perfect to get students focused on their bodies, working on their listening skills, and learning some new things to help their strength and flexibility.

 

Kids Hula Hoop

Our hula hoop class is a fun beginner class learning tricks and dance movements with a hula hoop. This class will incorporate some dancing as well as choreography with the hula hoop to new fun upbeat songs! Classes start at a slower pace to get all students on track and in line with their hula hoop. Throughout the session, students should be able to put tricks together to form a short routine. *hula hoop is provided, although you can bring your own

 

Twerk

This class is based around building confidence in oneself. There will be lots of strength work with the body and to get in motion with your body. Class will focus on building muscles while having fun. This is a basic class learning choreography and dancing to fun upbeat music both current and past. *knee braces are optional but recommended

 

Chair Dance

This class is based around building confidence in oneself. Classes will warm up both on the chair and off the chair. Students will learn basic moves and tricks with the chair to eventually turn it into choreography. Music and choreography could be upbeat or slow depending on the lesson.

Ballet/Tap

This is a perfect class for students who are just showing their interest in dance and is too old for our combo class. This class focuses on the basics of ballet creating a fun atmosphere with using songs from their favorite disney movies. We will be practicing tap basics as well in this class. Tap is loved by all younger students as they get to move their feet the whole time and get to learn how to listen to their feet and make music with the steps we do.

 

Mommy & Me

These classes are for parent & child. We create a fun, moving class with upbeat songs for them to sing along to. Props will be used in this class to engage students to dance and learn the basic steps to prepare them for a dance class without an adult present.

 

Ballet

All of our ballet classes have the same lesson outline. Classes include barre work, center work, stretching, adagio’s, and strength training. Ballet classes will perform all basic ballet movements with higher level classes expanding out to more advanced skills. Adult classes are basic ballet classes which accommodate for people who have previous experience, no experience, or pregnant woman.

 

Lyrical

Lyrical is a mix of ballet and jazz, if you are unfamiliar with this style of dance. While taking this class students will learn how to fully express themself while dancing and showing emotion in their dancing. Class will also focus on improv dancing.

 

Modern

Modern is a little bit like Lyrical creating emotions while you dance. Students will be focusing on the basics of dance movements like how you see on “So you think you can dance” and other dance shows. Class will be focused on routines, tricks, as well as improvisation.

Combo Class

Basic combo classes cover a different style of dance each week that includes Ballet(week 1), Tap/Ballet(week 2), Jazz(week 3), and Hip-hop(week 4). In class students will learn to believe in themselves in the new moves they are learning, grow their memorization, expand their ability to be creative both for dance and outside of dance. Our teachers are dedicated in strengthening and empowering our students become what they want to become and achieve what they want to achieve. Students will be learning stretches, center work, across the floor work, fun dances, and developmental dance games to help them with their small and large motor skills. 

 

Creative Movement 

This class is designed to keep your little one moving while teaching them the basics of ballet and tap. Children will be dancing and singing along to common and new songs during class to help improve their movements in dance and get them talking and learning.  Our creative movement classes help achieve listening skills while receiving one on one attention by their dance teacher helping them work their small and large motor skills.
